My name is Jenna, and i am MOMMY!

So its been 2 months. I am officially the worst "blogger" that ever was. But hey, if you're reading, that's what matters! Welcome back! The last 2 months have been jam packed with exciting times and, while they deserve some recognition, they don't hold a candle to the arrival of my beautiful Scarlett Elle. So that's where I'll start today.

I am incredibly blessed and excited to say, that on June 17, 2012 at 7:26 in the morning, I brought Scarlett Elle Tennyson-Johnson into the world via emergency c-section. She weighed 6 lbs 0 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. I have never....ever ever ever in my entire life....been as happy, proud, and in love as I am with what my life has become. I've always heard people talk about it. You have, too-About the love you have for your child far surpassing any other human felt emotion. And everything they said was true. I am head over heels in love!

Now that I've gotten all of my mushies out, ill backtrack a little. Last post, I was getting ready for my fast approaching baby shower. It was AMAZING. My Mom, Vanessa, and Summer did a fantastic job making the day a success. My friends and family sure did "shower" Scarlett and I with gifts and we left with two carloads of goodies. I set everything up and was truly ready for her arrival a month before she actually came!
As for now...i can feel my hands again(mostly)! Or at least i can grip a pen without it falling out of my hand unexpectedly. I have lost 11 lbs of my pregnancy weight which is great considering I had a C section and weight loss is supposed to be difficult. All and all, post pregnancy has been good to me. I have a little pain every now and then but that's to be expected.

Sorry this is so short! Ill write more later! I really will this time!! Just wanted to update while I had a moment. Time to feed the ladybug! :)
